Job summary

Schneider Packaging Equipment Company, Inc. is hiring for an Electrical Assembler responsible for assembling electrical components from schematics and drawings. The role requires reading schematics, familiarity with NEC/NFPA70E, and collaboration with assembly and controls teams.

You will perform I/O inspections, use hand tools and power tools, and document changes. Travel with equipment for installation may be required. A high school diploma or equivalent and an A.A.S.

Qualifications

• Read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Familiarity with NEC/NFPA70E electrical safety standards.
• Operate computer and document I/O inspections.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform a variety of electrical assembly functions from controls schematics/drawings.
• Document changes to controls drawings/schematics.
• Perform I/O inspections and use hand tools/power tools as needed.
• Collaborate with Assembly and Controls to troubleshoot equipment.
• Complete electronic labor reporting.
• Assist other electricians in assembly operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the electrical assembly team.
• Travel with equipment for installation as required.
