Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with an electrical apprenticeship or formal technical training.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician in manufacturing.
• Valid electrician license with industrial/commercial certifications; journeyman preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, motors, PLCs, and VFDs; ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for corrugated paper manufacturing machinery and conveyors.
• Diagnose and resolve routine and complex electrical issues on production lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and safety standards in daily work.
• Calibrate and test sensors, instruments, and control systems; diagnose faults with diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with maintenance, mechanical, and automation teams for seamless integration.
• Document maintenance work and upgrades; provide emergency electrical support as needed.
