Job summary

MP Materials in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for manufacturing equipment. You will work with furnaces, mills, CNCs, and lab systems, handling VFDs, power distribution, transformers, and HVAC components.

Qualifications

Completion of an approved Certified Industrial Electrician Program or equivalent experience.
Five years of experience in Industrial Electrical‑Instrumentation repair and maintenance.
Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs.
Knowledge of uninterruptible power sources, generators, switchgear, and VFDs.
Familiarity with relevant codes (NFPA, NEC, OSHA).

Responsibilities

Install dedicated and branch circuits for electrical equipment and control circuits.
Upgrade lighting with timer switches and contactors; ensure proper electrical functions.
Repair lights, transformers, switchboards, and related electrical apparatus.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic components of manufacturing process equipment.
Test electrical wiring, equipment, systems, and fixtures for proper operation.
Perform ground checks and preventive maintenance of switchgear and transformers.
Troubleshoot ATS, power distribution circuits, and lighting control systems.
Maintain and repair fire protection system electrical components.
Adhere to maintenance safety protocols (LOTOTO, Arc Flash, etc.).
Collaborate with EHS to meet health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
