Job summary

Element Resources in Muncie, IN, is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, including VFDs, PLCs, and large motors, with emphasis on 480V three-phase configurations.

You will support lighting control systems, machine repairs, and safety compliance in a heavy industrial setting. Shift flexibility and a proactive mindset are essential for success at Element Resources.

Qualifications

• Proficient in diagnosing electrical systems including motors, drives and control circuits.
• Experience with 480V three-phase systems, motor starters and switchgear repairs.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, and work safely under LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems including VFDs, PLCs, and motors up to 450 HP.
• Maintain lighting control systems and general machine repair.
• Follow safety rules and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Enter work data on work orders and participate in process improvement teams.
• Be flexible to work any shift and maintain a positive team influence.
