Job summary

Element Resources is hiring an Industrial Electrician to support a leading battery recycling operation in Muncie. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, VFDs, PLCs, 480V three-phase drives, and motor control equipment up to 450 HP, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The position offers overtime opportunities with staff earning $68,000 to $100,000+ annually, a $0.90 night shift differential, and gain-share potential up to $400 monthly.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical operations.
• Troubleshooting, repair and adjustment of all plant equipment.
• Maintain PLCs, control circuits and primary power.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce all safety rules.
• Hold blood lead levels low by adhering to safety practices.
• Accountability for recordable accidents.
• Enter work data on work order forms.
• Provide ideas/solutions to equipment improvement and participate on improvement teams.
• Positive influence on others.
• Be able to work any shift.
• Follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
