Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for our Fort Worth, TX facility. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on corrugated paper production machinery and conveyors, diagnose faults, and participate in preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an electrical apprenticeship or formal training, 5+ years in manufacturing, and a valid electrician license. Journeyman certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with completed electrical apprenticeship or technical training.
• At least 5 years as an industrial electrician in manufacturing, preferably corrugated/paper industry.
• Valid electrician license; industrial/commercial certifications; Journeyman preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring for manufacturing machinery and conveyors.
• Diagnose and resolve routine and complex electrical issues on production lines.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and safety standards; perform work safely.
• Calibrate and test electrical systems, sensors, and instruments in production processes.
• Repair or replace faulty components and propose efficiency upgrades.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to integrate electrical with mechanical and automation systems.
• Document maintenance work and upgrades accurately.
• Provide rapid emergency response to electrical failures to restore operations.
