Job summary

prattexternalcareersite is seeking an experienced Electrician to support our corrugation and paper manufacturing equipment. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, ensure safety compliance, and work with the engineering team to optimize performance.

The role requires 3–5 years in an industrial setting, a valid electrical license or journeyman preferred, and the ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools. On-site work with rotating shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as an industrial electrician in manufacturing.
• Valid electrician license or journeyman preferred.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or technical training program.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics, follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for machinery and plant infrastructure.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot routine and complex electrical issues on production lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and OSHA safety standards during all work.
• Calibrate sensors, test instruments, and verify electrical system performance.
• Repair or upgrade components to enhance reliability and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for system integration.
• Document maintenance work, upgrades, and modifications accurately.
• Provide emergency support to restore operations quickly.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on safety and procedures.
