Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed is seeking an experienced maintenance electrician to ensure safe, reliable electrical maintenance of production equipment. You will troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and electrical controls while adhering to NEC standards and 5S/World Class Manufacturing initiatives.

The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and supports TPM-driven maintenance in a fast-paced roofing production environment with shift work (2nd/3rd). Proficiency in SAP CMMS and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read electrical prints and schematics.
• Proficient in troubleshooting 460V three-phase motors and equipment.
• Experience with PLC and SCADA equipment troubleshooting/modification.
• Familiarity with NEC and electrical installation standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand electrical prints and schematic drawings.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, including 460-volt motors.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC equipment (Allen Bradley/Modicon).
• Troubleshoot and repair VFD motors and equipment.
• Perform electrical control design work and modifications.
• Ensure NEC-compliant installations and wiring.
