Job summary

Cemex US is seeking an Electrician to perform electrical maintenance and installation across production locations in Miami, FL. The role focuses on equipment in industrial settings, with emphasis on safety and adherence to regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical maintenance, PLC and digital drive experience, and familiarity with power distribution up to 4160 volts. Reading and communicating in English is required.

Qualifications

5 years electrical maintenance experience.
3 years experience in aggregate, cement or heavy industrial operations preferred.
Power distribution understanding up to 4,160 volts.
Programmable logic control and digital drive experience.
High school graduate; Associates degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical work and repairs on industrial/mining equipment
Install, adjust and maintain all electrical equipment, gauges and instruments
Troubleshoot, evaluate and coordinate electrical needs, repairs and modifications
Ensure manufacturers standards of repair and maintenance are performed on all equipment
Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned
Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times
Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
Meet or exceed company safety standards
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management
