Job summary

Cemex US is seeking an Electrician to perform electrical maintenance and installation across production sites in Florida. The role focuses on equipment repairs, installation of electrical systems, and safeguarding plant operations.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of industrial electrical experience, knowledge of PLCs, and the ability to read electrical schematics. Willingness to work in challenging environments and adhere to safety policies is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years electrical maintenance experience.
• 3 years experience in aggregate, cement or heavy industrial operations preferred.
• Power distribution experience or understanding up to 4160 volts.
• Programmable logic control and digital drive experience.
• High school graduate. Prefer Associates Degree or equivalent in electrical maintenance experience.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work and repairs on industrial/mining equipment.
• Install, adjust and maintain all electrical equipment, gauges and instruments.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate and coordinate electrical needs, repairs and modifications.
• Ensure that manufacturers standards of repair and maintenance are performed on all equipment.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards.
