Job summary

CEMEX is seeking an Electrician in Miami, FL, to perform maintenance and installation across production locations. You will work on industrial equipment, assist with electrical systems, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires experience in electrical maintenance, industrial environments, and familiarity with PLCs, drives, and power distribution, along with good English skills; bilingual candidates are a plus. This is a full-time on-site position with a strong safety emphasis.

Qualifications

5 years electrical maintenance experience.
3 years experience in aggregate, cement or heavy industrial operations preferred.
Power distribution experience up to 4,160 volts.
Programmable logic control and digital drive experience.
Able to read, write, and speak English.
Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical work and repairs on industrial/mining equipment.
Install, adjust and maintain all electrical equipment, gauges and instruments.
Troubleshoot, evaluate and coordinate electrical needs, repairs and modifications.
Ensure that manufacturers standards of repair and maintenance are performed on all equipment.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Maintain good housekeeping.
Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times.
Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds.
Meet or exceed company safety standards.
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management.
