Job summary

Nucor Corporation is seeking an Electrician/Controls Technician to uphold safety, efficiency, and reliability across manufacturing operations in Indiana. You will implement conduit, wiring, PLC installation and troubleshooting within 480-volt and 24-volt systems, supporting uptime and process performance.

The role requires experience in industrial electrical work, HMI/PLC programming, and drafting electrical prints, with on-call and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or trade school in electrical field, or at least 3 years industrial electrical experience (Manufacturing preferred).
• 2 years experience with HMI/PLC programming and Rockwell.
• 2 years experience with drafting electrical prints.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot PLCs, motor controls, and Rockwell systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics and wire conduit installations.
• Support uptime, safety, and productivity in Maintenance Department; provide overtime/on-call coverage.
