Job summary

Accelera is hiring an Industrial Electrician for our automotive manufacturing team in Portland, MI. This direct hire role offers a full benefits package and immediate start date.

The position focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and restoring various industrial electrical systems and machinery. You will work with PLCs, CNC machinery, HMIs, and other digital/analog systems, reading schematics and drawings to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Own and maintain a professional toolkit.
• Able to operate in extreme temperatures, tight spaces and electromagnetic fields; capable of lifting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and restore industrial electrical systems and machinery.
• Read and apply technical drawings, schematics and manufacturer documentation.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and process optimization.
• Ensure safety and compliance in all electrical work.
