Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Electrician to perform electrical and maintenance tasks across our North American facilities. The role emphasizes installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of plant equipment in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in electrical/electronics, is safety-minded, and can work independently or with a team while satisfying overtime and on-call requirements. MSHA PPE safety rules apply on site.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electrical or electronics field or equivalent training.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficient use of PLCs/PCs.
• Willingness to work overtime and respond to call-ins.
• Surface mining experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills (English).
• Electrical and mechanical skills required.
• Safety-oriented with good work habits.
• Punctual and reliable; good attendance.
• Strong communication (verbal and listening).

Responsibilities

• Safely perform simple to complex electrical repairs and installs in a manufacturing setting.
• Follow Environmental Health & Safety policies and promote a culture of safety.
• Plan jobs and document electrical installations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and standards.
