Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Electrician to perform electrical/maintenance processes through proper installation, repair and preventative maintenance of plant equipment in a manufacturing setting.

You will report to Plant Supervisors and work safely under environmental health and safety policies. Candidates should have an associate degree in electrical/electronics, be able to work independently or in a team, and be proficient with PLC/PCs. Overtime and on-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical/electronics required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficient with PLC/PCs.
• Willing to work overtime/on-call.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Electrical and mechanical skills required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical/drug/alcohol test.
• MSHA PPE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform electrical repairs and installs in a manufacturing setting.
• Plan jobs and document new installations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment.
• Work in a team environment or independently.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and safety policies.
• Maintain equipment and assist in routine repairs.
