Vylor Inc. is on-site at Corteva location and seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure operation of plant equipment, perform repairs, and uphold safety standards. The role involves troubleshooting, inspections, and documenting equipment records to support uptime.

You will work with automation and PLC systems, comply with environmental and safety regulations, and support production during seasonal peaks with overtime and weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman Electrical License required or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical maintenance in an industrial setting is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections of equipment.
• Review and assist program leaders with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance.
• Adhere to all quality systems and safety procedures including OSHA, PSM and Corteva safety procedures.
• Make recommendations for improvements to electrical programs and/or process changes.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and prints as required; operate safely in varied conditions.

Sign-On Bonus of $5,000

(Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facility

Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures

Review and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance

Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including environmental regulations, OSHA, PSM, and Corteva’s safety procedures in everyday work routine

Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including the addition of new devices, and hardware

You have a high school diploma or equivalent

A Journeyman Electrical License

You are comfortable with technology and possess good a computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as required

Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand, and sit for extended periods, Work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to 50 lbs. You are willing and able to maintain detailed equipment records and prints as required

You will always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day

You value serving our customers and know operations must be supported for optimal uptime. You are willing and able to work overtime and shift hours, which include weekend and holidays during seasonal peaks to support production demand

Experience with a work order and part inventory system

Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)

Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, instrumentation and controls, HVAC, and general maintenance experience).

Experience with an E-Maintenance (or similar system) for work orders and parts inventory
