Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a skilled Electrician in Meriden, CT to support installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and continuous improvement across production, utility, and cleanroom infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience, a CT journeyperson license, and proficiency with diagnostic tools. Join a team focused on safety, GMP compliance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of electrician apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Valid Connecticut E-1 Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson License.
• 3–5 years electrical maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
• Experience troubleshooting systems up to 480V.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance experience.
• Commitment to safety, EHS and GMP compliance.
• Proficiency with testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment across the facility.
• Support production equipment, utility systems, HVAC, cleanroom infrastructure, and facility services.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues involving VFDs, MCCs, transformers, panels, lighting, and power distribution.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical docs.
• Assist with equipment installations and capital improvement projects.
• Collaborate with automation and controls teams to troubleshoot integrated systems.
• Maintain CMMS maintenance records and support CAPA initiatives.
• Contribute to energy efficiency and continuous improvement efforts.
