Job summary

First Quality is seeking an Electrician for its Lock Haven facility to maintain, repair, and adjust electrical components within Facilities. The role requires following GMP, FDA, ISO guidelines and a strong safety mindset.

You will troubleshoot systems, participate in preventative maintenance, and support cross-department collaboration. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with 3+ years of industrial electrical experience and may have vocational/technical training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years industrial electrical experience.
• Vocational or technical school or prior industrial electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observes safety rules and uses proper safety equipment.
• Follows GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.
• Performs electrical troubleshooting utilizing a logical approach.
• Troubleshoots machinery, equipment, and components using electrical schematics.
• Supports preventative maintenance audits and inspections of facility power distribution system.
• Determines and executes repairs, adjustments, and overhauls to facilities electrical components.
• Assists with snow removal and with work orders.
• Shows initiative and works with little supervision.
• Performs customer work requests as directed by manager/supervisor.
• Completes work orders with high quality.
• Aligns and supports fellow departments.
• Shares knowledge and assists training of new personnel.
• Notifies Supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical hazards and takes corrective action.
• Attends all required training provided by the company.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Performs other duties as necessary.
