Job summary

Lamb Weston in Idaho seeks an Electrical Technician to support electrical systems across our processing plants. You should have 1+ year of electrical schooling or 2+ years of electrical experience, and be able to read schematics, troubleshoot equipment, and perform wiring and installations.

The role includes ongoing training toward Journeyman licensure and potential overtime during peak periods. You will work in a safety-focused environment at a global leader in frozen potato products,

Qualifications

• At least one year of electrical experience with LW or three years of industrial electrical experience.
• Able to read and interpret basic electrical schematics.
• Able to troubleshoot basic electrical equipment and components.
• Willing to continue education to achieve Journeyman license and participate in the electrical apprentice program.
• Able to wire a stop/start panel and MCC bucket safely and completely.
• Willing to work extended hours during peak demand periods.
• Demonstrates professional workmanship and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Wire stop/start panel and MCC bucket such that device is safely operated.
• Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and perform layouts.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical equipment and components.
• Perform electrical system layouts and installations.
• Advance toward Journeyman license through apprenticeship.
