Job summary

True West Beef is seeking motivated Electricians to join our Jerome, Idaho maintenance team. You will maintain and repair plant electrical equipment to avoid production downtime, working with a team to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Qualified candidates bring a strong electrical background, at least three years in industrial electrical work, and journeyman license or eligibility. You will handle PMs, odd shifts, and collaborate with production and management in a fast-paced beef processing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of industrial electrical experience.
• Experience with low voltage DC circuits (5VDC-90VDC) and 120/208/240/277/480V three-phase power & motor controls.
• VFD/PLC experience is preferred.
• Journeyman license or eligibility to become licensed.

Responsibilities

• Work safely by following all safety guidelines including PPE, LOTO, confined spaces, and hot work permits.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and rebuild a wide variety of electrical equipment.
• Assist maintenance personnel with equipment failures.
• Keep work areas and storage areas clean and organized.
• Perform scheduled and unplanned maintenance (PMs).
• Operate equipment like forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift as needed.
• Communicate effectively with production team and management.
• Maintain good attendance records and punctuality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
