Job summary

Thompson Construction Group, Inc. is seeking an Electrician Helper to plan and install wiring according to customer specifications and blueprints. You will work safely and efficiently, following codes and using a range of hand and power tools to connect wiring to panels, motors and lighting.

The role requires reading blueprints, measuring and bending conduit, and conducting continuity tests. A Construction Electrician Course or equivalent field experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completed Construction Electrician Course or equivalent field experience.
• Read, write and communicate clearly with supervisor and co-workers.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments.
• May require state or local certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan installations to minimize waste and ensure safe wiring per code.
• Follow blueprints; install wiring before walls/ceilings/floors finish.
• Measure, cut, bend and assemble conduit; use hand/power tools.
• Connect wiring to lighting, motors, panels and equipment.
• Test circuit continuity for safety and compatibility.
