Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is hiring for a maintenance-focused role at our Dalton, AR facility. You will perform general facility maintenance, maintain tufting equipment, and assist with electrical installations and basic welding to support our production lines.

You will work with building and grounds tasks, read catalogs for sizing, and operate powered industrial trucks as needed. Excellent attendance and a readiness to lift up to 50 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

Must have mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting knowledge.
Basic welding skills preferred.
Reading, writing and math skills required.
Must have valid PIT license or complete PIT certification.
Ability to read and interpret catalogs for equipment sizing.

Responsibilities

General facility maintenance.
Maintain tufting related equipment.
Basic welding.
Building and grounds work.
Treading pipe for airlines.
Install and remove electrical and electronic equipment.
Choose proper equipment size, wire and conduit sizes, breaker sizes and fuse sizes from catalogs.
Install all types of conduits.
Troubleshoot and repair/replace mechanical equipment.
Operate various powered industrial trucks when needed.
