Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) seeks an Electrician at Fort Carson, CO to perform electrical trade functions including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment for generation, distribution, and utilization of electric energy.

The role requires journey-level experience, ability to work from blueprints, and strict adherence to safety procedures. The position may involve outdoor work, on-call shifts, and a need for security clearance support.

Qualifications

• Formal apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training is required.
• Six years journey-level experience; college years can substitute for experience.
• Must maintain required licenses/certifications.
• Ability to operate from lifts and bucket trucks.
• Must pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install or repair electrical equipment per blueprints or specifications.
• Locate and diagnose trouble; perform load calculations for wiring/equipment.
• Use electrician's hand tools and testing instruments.
• Collaborate with vendors for quotes; document work and materials.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
