Job summary

Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is seeking a custodial worker to keep offices and facilities clean and orderly. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and teamwork in a mission-driven environment.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, and union represented, with a pay rate of $20.55 to $20.96 per hour and a scheduled increase to $20.96 effective 10/1/2026. On-site work, strong safety culture, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team are offered.

Qualifications

• One year related housekeeping/custodial experience preferred.
• Experience operating floor cleaning machines preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a structured environment.
• Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety and standard safety practices.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must maintain access to government worksite and a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial tasks to keep offices, buildings, and facilities clean and orderly.
• Sweep, mop, scrub floors and clean walls, glass, and restrooms.
• Empty trash, service areas, and maintain furniture and fixtures.
• Move equipment and supplies, and report deficiencies to management.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies; perform duties as assigned.
