Job summary

Qnity in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Site Electrician to support maintenance of electrical and control systems. You will work with DeltaV, PLCs, and CMMS in a fast-paced electronics environment, with day shift hours and overtime as needed.

The successful candidate will have at least a MA journeyman license and 4+ years of industrial electrical/instrument maintenance, along with strong problem-solving and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Massachusetts journeyman electrician license.
• 4+ years of industrial electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Day shift: Mon-Fri 7:00am–3:30pm; overtime as needed.
• Experience with DeltaV, PLCs (DeltaV/ GE Fanuc/ Allen‑Bradley) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, calibrate, and repair electrical distribution systems and control instruments.
• Coordinate maintenance with other departments and authorities.
• Identify improvement areas for controls and electrical infrastructure.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the work area.
• Perform safety hazard assessments prior to work.
• Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Contribute to maintenance reliability programs.
• Calibrate and maintain electrical/electronic equipment and pneumatic processes.
• Assist design and programming of electrical and control systems for upgrades.
• Troubleshoot control systems including DeltaV and PLCs.
• Maintain passwords and system access levels.
• Utilize CMMS and feedback to maintenance systems.
• Assist A&PC team as needed.
• Record history and review maintenance strategies.
• Be available for on-call/outage support.
