Job summary

Thomson Reuters is hiring an Electrician in Eagan, Minnesota to provide electrical and mechanical support for manufacturing machinery. The role includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days and a 3rd shift from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

You will work with maintenance technicians on calibration, installation, and continuous improvement projects, and ensure safety compliance across plant operations. The ideal candidate has a degree in electrical engineering or related field, plus relevant industrial

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering or electro-mechanical discipline with relevant experience.
Maintenance or journeyman license would be a plus and industrial electrical controls knowledge is expected.
Experience with PLCs and electrical safety best practices is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain, replace, repair, test or adjust electrical system components for equipment.
Support maintenance technicians in calibration of mechanical systems and control apparatus.
Assist installation and maintenance of new equipment and plant improvement projects.
Diagnose issues with PLCs, I/Os, and related hardware/software interfaces.
Develop and verify electrical documentation like wiring diagrams and procedures.
Follow safety rules and attend training; complete annual continuing education.
