Job summary

The Kinetic Group in Anoka, MN is seeking an Electrician Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and service plant electrical systems across our manufacturing facilities. This role reports to the Operations Manager and supports efficient machine operation, product quality and overall site performance.

Experience with industrial electrical environments, PLC and schematic reading, and independent work with minimal supervision is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered/unlicensed electrician capable of licensure within 30 days.
• Knowledgeable in PLC and schematic reading.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical environment.
• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good verbal and written communication; able to work independently.
• Resume documenting how minimum and additional qualifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing equipment.
• Repairs or rebuilds motors, control systems or other equipment as necessary.
• Maintains shop equipment and working areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Functions as an electrical/electronic resource and shares knowledge with others as appropriate.
• Participates and supports continuous improvement efforts.
• Observes all applicable safety rules and reports unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to supervisors.
