Job summary

The Kinetic Group, a world leader in design, manufacturing, and distribution of small caliber ammunition, seeks an Electrician Technician for the Anoka facility. The role maintains and troubleshoots electrical systems across plants to boost machine operation, product quality, and overall plant performance.

You will report to the Operations Manager, work 7:00pm–7:00am on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and alternating Thursdays, and must possess PLC/schematic knowledge plus manufacturing electrical

Qualifications

• Registered unlicensed electrician or able to achieve within 30 days.
• Knowledgeable in PLC and schematic reading.
• Experience in industrial, or manufacturing electrical environment.
• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, preferable in a manufacturing environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skill.
• Experience and ability to work independently under minimal supervision, a self-starter.
• Resume provided with application documenting how minimum and additional qualifications are met.
• Willingness to work with others, and open new ideas or techniques.

Responsibilities

• Trouble-shoots and repairs manufacturing equipment.
• Repairs or rebuilds motors, control systems or other equipment as necessary.
• Maintains shop equipment and working areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Functions as an electrical/electronic resource and works to improve the knowledge of others as appropriate.
• Participates and supports continuous improvement efforts.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills.
• Observes all applicable safety rules and reports unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to supervisors.
