Challenge Manufacturing seeks a skilled Industrial Electrician for our Walker, MI plant on the 2nd shift (2 PM–10 PM, M-F). You will install, test, and maintain electrical systems, diagnose issues, and ensure compliance with safety codes.

You will also supervise apprentices and interpret blueprints for precise wiring layouts. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of industrial electrician experience, and a state journeyman license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
• State Licensed Electrician/Journeyman Card preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform duties and follow instructions.

Responsabilités

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and correct problems using test equipment.
• Inspect systems for hazards and ensure compliance with codes.
• Direct and train apprentices in installation and repair work.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine wiring locations and meet safety standards.
