Job summary

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, reading wiring diagrams, ensuring NEC and local code compliance, and mentoring helpers. Candidates must have 3+ years' experience and pass drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an industrial electrician.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and state/local codes.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA certification or other safety trainings.
• NCCER certification.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair and maintain electrical systems, equipment and fixtures including conduit, wire duct and cable tray systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in a timely manner.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with national, state and local electrical codes.
• Mentor helpers and provide guidance as needed.
• Maintain tools, vehicles and equipment in good working order.
• Work collaboratively with team members, contractors and clients.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
