Job summary

ENGlobal Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrician for an industrial setting. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.

The position is contract/temporary with an estimated workload of 2-7 weeks. The ideal candidate has 3+ years as an industrial electrician, reads technical drawings and wiring diagrams, and is familiar with NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an industrial electrician.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and state/local codes.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• OSHA/NCCER or safety training are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair and maintain electrical systems, equipment and fixtures including conduit, wire duct and cable tray systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in a timely manner.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with national, state and local electrical codes.
• Mentor helpers and provide guidance as needed.
• Maintain tools, vehicles and equipment in good working order.
• Work collaboratively with team members, contractors and clients.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
