Englobal a Gulf Island Company is seeking an Electrician Helper to assist electricians in installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in an industrial environment.

This temporary contract position is based in Houston, Texas, with an estimated workload of 2-7 weeks. The role requires 1+ year of experience with industrial electrical systems, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. Familiarity with NEC and local codes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly, installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures including conduit, wire duct and cable tray systems
• Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues in a timely manner
• Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Ensure compliance with national, state and local electrical codes
• Maintain tools, vehicles and equipment in good working order
• Work collaboratively with team members, contractors and clients
