Job summary
Nationwide Technical Search is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician for 1st shift in Toledo, OH. This onsite role requires handling high-Voltage systems and heavy manufacturing maintenance, with emphasis on safe, efficient operation and quick fault diagnosis.
The ideal candidate brings strong electrical and mechanical skills, experience with 480V systems, and the ability to interpret schematics. Welding and fabrication capabilities are a plus, and steel processing exposure is valued.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and heavy manufacturing environments.
- Experience with 480V systems and use of multi-volt meters.
- Own set of basic maintenance hand tools and toolbox.
- Computer literacy and clear communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of 120V/208V, 277V, and 480V systems.
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
- Read electrical schematics and blueprints to diagnose issues.
- Perform welding and basic fabrication for equipment repair and plant maintenance.
- Troubleshoot VFDs and PLCs when required.
