Job summary
Professional Placement Services is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Engineer for a growing manufacturing operation in Solon, OH. This hands-on role requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting across 480V three-phase systems, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, welding/fabrication, and basic PLCs.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, with a focus on preventive maintenance and rapid repair of equipment to minimize
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with 480V three‑phase systems, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings.
- MIG/Arc welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Basic PLC troubleshooting experience beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Perform preventive maintenance and rapid downtime repair.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
- Weld and fabricate as needed for equipment repair and modification.
- Assist in extrusion or plastics processes if applicable.
