Job summary

Stryten Energy in Columbus, IN is seeking a full-time Industrial Electrician for a first shift (7am–3pm). You will troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing setting, with a focus on preventive maintenance and safety.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma (AA in maintenance a plus), have 2+ years of manufacturing experience, and are open to shift changes. Experience with PLCs, NFPA/OSHA compliance, and plant automation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have industrial electrical knowledge and strong mechanical abilities.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems in a fast paced automated environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems including PLCs, VFDs, motor starters and I/O.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service.
• Assist in documentation for new and existing plant automation and control systems.
