Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an Industrial Electrician for the 1st shift in Stratford, CT. You will maintain, repair, and optimize facility equipment, plant wiring, and complex mechanical systems to keep high-speed production running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial machinery.
Excellent knowledge of electrical systems in facilities and control panels.
Proven ability to read blueprints and diagnose electrical issues in production environments.

Responsibilities

Lead hands-on troubleshooting, programming, and diagnostics for PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Keyence, GE Fanuc), VFDs, and drive systems.
Diagnose root-cause electrical issues from field devices to MCCs and main control panels to maximize efficiency.
Provide technical leadership to journeymen and apprentices on complex builds, upgrades, and maintenance overhauls.
Design electrical systems, read blueprints, and perform transformer, conduit, and wire-sizing calculations for integrated power and control solutions.
Oversee major installations from scope through commissioning and budget control, ensuring NEC compliance and safety.
