Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products in Marietta, GA is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control systems on manufacturing equipment, perform routine and preventive maintenance, and install new equipment as needed.

You must have a Journeyman license with 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong PLC experience (Allen-Bradley), ability to read blueprints, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Journeyman licensed with 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Experience with PLCs, preferably Allen Bradley (SLC 500, RSLogix 5/500/5000, PLC5, ControlLogix, Micrologix, PanelView).
• Strong electrical knowledge (circuit breakers and fixtures).
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work (lift up to 75 lbs).
• Reliability and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control for manufacturing equipment.
• Perform routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment/parts.
• Install or assist in installation of new equipment, including layout and alignment.
• Identify, research, and present solutions to control problems and continuous improvement projects.
• Roll Grinder duties to support coating quality and paint line production.
