Job summary

Velcro Companies in Manchester, NH is hiring for a Second Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician. You will perform skilled electrical maintenance on machinery and systems in an industrial setting, including troubleshooting, installation, and PM/PdM tasks.

Qualifications

Five years of electrical and controls experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC drives and industrial control components.
Good mechanical aptitude and experience with maintenance and repair of machinery.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
Electrical craftsmanship including bending conduit and installing systems.
Proficient use of electrical meters and troubleshooting tools.
CMMS or PM/Work Order Tracking experience.
Experience with Allen-Bradley controls and programs.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on plant machinery, equipment, and systems to minimize downtime.
Plan and layout conduit, wiring, and components for new/relocated equipment.
Maintain PM and PdM programs focused on electrical and control systems.
Coordinate with Engineering and contractors for modifications and upgrades.
Complete work orders, inventory, logs, and purchasing documents.
Assist with spare parts inventory and supplier communications.
