Job summary

Velcro USA Inc. is seeking an experienced industrial Maintenance Electrician to perform skilled electrical maintenance and repairs on plant machinery, equipment and systems in our manufacturing facility.

You will troubleshoot PLCs and AC/DC drives, read electrical diagrams, install wiring and conduit, develop PM/PdM plans, supervise contractors as needed, and ensure safety, ISO 14001 and OSHA compliance while minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

Five years of electrical and controls experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC drives and other industrial control components/devices.
Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams and drawings.
Good electrical craftsmanship and ability to install electrical systems and components.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair all plant machinery and systems to minimize downtime.
Develop knowledge of electrical service and distribution systems in the plant.
Plan and lay out conduit, wiring and electrical devices for machine operation.
Interpret blueprints and manufacturer specifications for troubleshooting and PM/PdM planning.
Coordinate and monitor work by contractors as needed.
Support ISO 14001 environmental initiatives and OSHA safety policies.
