Job summary

Nucor Corporation seeks an Electrician Technician to diagnose, repair, or replace components in complex electrical control systems across our facilities. This role requires PLC programming, drive configurations, and strong safety practices on rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications include 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance, understanding of electrical theory, and experience with low-voltage systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and VFDs.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Fundamental understanding of electrical theory.
• Experience troubleshooting low voltage (<600VAC) motors and controllers.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation, process control devices, and VFDs.
• 3+ years’ industrial electrical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• D diagnose, repair, or replace components within complex electrical control systems including PLC programs and drive configurations.
• Work rotating shifts including nights and weekends; uphold safety policies and housekeeping standards at all times.
