Job summary

ProStaffing is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Electronics Technician for an industrial facility in Hickory, NC. The role focuses on hands-on electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and safety to keep production running smoothly.

You will diagnose motor controls, relays, drives, and panels, read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and document activities. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of related experience and a technical diploma or associate degree.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of electrical installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance experience.
• Experience with single-phase and three-phase systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals.
• Familiar with electrical safety procedures and codes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose issues with motors, drives, control circuits, relays, transformers, and panels.
• Install and repair wiring, switches, breakers, lighting, and components.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Use meters and diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on distribution systems and motors.
• Inspect equipment for safety concerns and failures.
• Document maintenance, inspections, and testing.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and PPE procedures and electrical codes.
