Natural Gas Services Group Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on natural gas compressor installations.

You will support Technical Service and Mechanical groups with maintenance, installation, and programming of compressor controls and SCADA systems. The role requires 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, familiarity with VFDs, PLCs, and reading electrical diagrams, with safety and regulatory compliance at the core.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience (min 5 years) in low/medium voltage.
• Experience with VFDs, starter panels, and PLC systems.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and technical manuals.
• Journeyman license preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; safety-conscious.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on natural gas compressors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on VFDs, motors, and controls.
• Install and program Murphy Controller and M-Link SCADA systems.
• Read diagrams and specs; ensure compliance with codes.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain maintenance logs.
