Job summary

TC Energy seeks an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and operate gas compressor and meter stations and related facilities. The role requires self-motivation, strong problem-solving, and communication skills, with willingness for extended hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities include installation, testing, calibration, and repair of control systems, along with documentation and coordination with field personnel to ensure reliable gas delivery

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification.
• 5 years of related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, repair, and maintain compressor stations, meter stations, communication systems, and other facilities related to the pipeline system.
• Troubleshoot, operate, maintain, calibrate, and repair various types of electronic, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Maintain power, process controls, PLCs, electric generation equipment, and related instrumentation.
• Compile, prepare, and maintain written records related to inspections, calibrations, and gas quality analyses.
• Complete work orders and enter data into SAP.
