Job summary
Superior Farms is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and production equipment in our USDA-regulated facility.
You will diagnose electrical issues, minimize downtime, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance in compliance with safety, GMP, and USDA requirements. This on-site role requires collaboration with Maintenance, Production, and Sanitation teams.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Working knowledge of motors, VFDs, sensors, and control circuitry.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical systems and production equipment up to 480V.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, motors, drives, breakers, panels, and distribution equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, manuals, and documentation.
- Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
- Follow all safety procedures including LOTO and PPE requirements.
