Job summary

Sonstegard Foods Company is looking for an experienced Electrician to provide essential electrical support for their operations. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in barns and processing facilities to ensure reliable operations within the egg production environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience, an Electrician License, and competencies with VFDs, motor controls, and compliance with safety standards. The position offers a collaborative work environment focused on minimizing production disruptions.

Qualifications

• Electrician License or equivalent combination of electrical schooling and experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of electrical experience in industrial or agricultural settings; poultry or egg production experience preferred.
• Competency with motor controls, VFDs, lighting systems, PLCs, panels, and industrial wiring.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems across barns and processing facilities.
• Support electrical installation projects for new equipment and upgrades.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety standards.
