Job summary
GE Vernova is hiring an Industrial Electrical Technician to operate, maintain and improve CNC machine tools, robotics and electrical control systems in our manufacturing environment. You will diagnose issues, order parts, install and test electrical components up to 600V, and support tool and facility maintenance.
The role requires an Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology/Mechatronics or a high school diploma with military electronics training, and at least 3 years in a manufacturing
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical Technology/Mechatronics or a high school diploma with military electronics training.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing facility maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical motors, control circuits, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical aspects of CNC tools, PLC ladder, VFD motors, and robotics.
- Diagnose problems, plan work, and order parts as needed.
- Install, modify, troubleshoot, test and repair electrical control systems up to 600V.
- Maintain and modify machine tools, process equipment and facilities.
- Apply knowledge of components and electronics used in industrial equipment.
