Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician in Lexington, SC to repair, inspect, and tune industrial electrical systems while using toolroom equipment for parts fabrication and repair. The role operates on a rotating night shift with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

The candidate will bring a Diploma or GED and at least five years of maintenance experience, including time with a single employer.

Qualifications

• Diploma or GED required; mechanical experience considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, including at least one year with the same employer.
• Technical degree, apprenticeship certification, or related experience in the corrugated or similar industrial environment preferred.
• Hands-on ability with hydraulics, pneumatics, wiring, welding, and the use of precision measuring tools (tape measure, micrometer, dial indicators, pi tapes, manometers).
• Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and readiness to work every shift safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, band saws, milling machines, and welders to manufacture and repair parts.
• Operate forklift and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety procedures, perform log entries, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Direct Hire – Lexington, SC

Pay Rate: $31.00 – $42.00 per hour

Schedule: Rotating 12‑hour Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities

• Repair, inspect, and fine‑tune industrial electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, band saws, milling machines, and welders to manufacture and repair parts.
