Job summary

Staffmark Group in Valdosta, GA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep production lines running. This role offers 12-hour rotating shifts, with a pay rate of $27.00 to $31.00 per hour and opportunities for overtime.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems, read blueprints, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve reliability and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Steel-toe boots required; company-issued PPE must be worn.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and moving equipment.
• Must follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and company safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Repair and maintain conveyors, production machinery, and other industrial equipment
• Perform equipment inspections and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Document maintenance activities and completed repairs
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to maximize equipment reliability
• Follow all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
