Job summary

Under supervision, you will de-energize equipment when necessary, test and verify actions, read electrical diagrams, and work across teams to maintain quality and reliability in production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or technical training required.
• 0–2 years manufacturing experience.
• Detail oriented with ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Astec processes in the manufacturing electrical department.
• Test and troubleshoot heaters to ensure equipment is ready before shipping.
• Correct and re-test to verify corrective action was successful.
• Communicate recommendations to electrical engineering to improve processes.
• Monitor quality issues and avoid shipping defective equipment.
• Promote Astec core values and follow safety rules at all times.
