A technical training institute is seeking an Electrical Technician to interpret schematics and conduct electrical work in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret detailed drawings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical schematics on new plant inventory.

• Conduct functional testing of multiple lighting, circuitry, and instrument panels.

Overview

Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical schematics on new plant inventory.
• Troubleshoot issues based on electrical test results.
• Apply electrical understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagrammatic form.
• Perform basic electrical work including drilling, wiring, and conduit installation.
• Pull and mount wires, wiring connections, and harnesses.
• Conduct functional testing of multiple lighting, circuitry, and instrument panels.
• Install and connect complete AC breaker box and associated wiring to load consumers.
• Able to work from and understand blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, college preferred.
• Does not require an electrician license.
• 1+ years’ experience in the electrical field within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret detailed drawings.
